Hatteras Island Fishing Report

Here is the Frisco Rod and Gun Outer Banks Fishing Report for Hatteras Island.

Today we had sunny skies and warm weather.  We had west winds at 10-15mph in the morning switching to south at 15-20mph around noon. The temperature was in the upper 60’s throughout the day and at some points above 70.

The puppy drum are still here, they were caught on the Buxton and Frisco beaches today. Also on the Frisco beaches were sea-mullet, black drum, blow toads, and dog sharks. Buxton beaches also had some sea-mullet, blow toads and dog sharks, along with some skates and spot.

Only had a report of one inshore boat to day and the puppy drum bite was great.

No offshore report for today.
