Hatteras Island Fishing Report

Here is the Frisco Rod and Gun Outer Banks Fishing Report for Hatteras Island.

Sunny skies in the morning turning Cloudy later today with the temperature in the mid 80’s. the winds started out North at 5-10 mph but came around to the North-East.

The beach fishing today was very good. In Avon the pompano, spot, croaker, puppy drum, from the beach. From the pier there was spade fish, flounder, sea-mullet, and some croaker. In Buxton the pompano, sea-mullet, some spanish and a few small bluefish. From the Frisco beach there was some sea-mullet and pompano caught. In Hatteras the sea-mullet and bluefish were being caught. also some sand perch were caught.

Inshore today the drum, spanish, and bluefish were biting good today.

The wahoo fishing was good again today. The bailer dolphin bite was decent today and the black fin tuna bite was scattered. There was a few sailfish were released today. From the bottom there were some tile fish caught.
