Hatteras Island Fishing Report

Here is the Frisco Rod and Gun Outer Banks Fishing Report for Hatteras Island.

We had clear skies today.  The winds lightened up a little, still out of the north, but not blowing like yesterday.  North east winds today, blowing 5-10 mph. We had a temperature of 75F.

Cape Point in Buxton had spanish mackerel and bluefish this morning, bluefish carried on through the day along with some puppy drum.  Frisco beach had reports of bluefish.  Hatteras reports a big red drum, bluefish, spanish mackerel and a couple of keeper flounder.

No inshore report for today.  A few boats made it offshore today.  It was a fair dolphin and wahoo bite, along with  scattered king mackerel and blackfin tuna.

Here is the featured product for today.
