Hatteras Island Fishing Report

Here is the Frisco Rod and Gun Outer Banks Fishing Report for Hatteras Island.

Today we had sunny skies.  The winds were from the north at 5-10 mph and the temperatures were in the upper 60’s.

The Frisco beach around the Pier and down on the Hatteras beaches there was a pretty good puppy drum bite in the morning with several caught.  There were a few yearling size drum mixed in too.

The inshore boats caught some puppy drum today in the Pamlico Sound.

The offshore boats had some decent catches of yellowfin tuna and a few nice blackfin tuna.  There were a handful of bluefin tuna caught today.  The picture below is from the “Good Times” charter boat with a nice keeper bleufin tuna that was caught on a jig.  Pretty work Captain Andy!!!
