Hatteras Island Fishing Reports

Here is the Frisco Rod and Gun Outer Banks Fishing Report for Hatteras Island.

It was a calm sunny day here on the island. The winds were light from the north. The temperature were in the lower 80’s.

From the beach today there was some good fishing. In Avon there was some pompano and sea-mullet from the beach. From the pier there was spanish mackerel, bluefish, pompano, gray trout and sea-mullet. In Buxton there was spanish mackerel and bluefish at the point, sea-mullet and pompano caught all along the beach. In Frisco there was sea-mullet and bluefish biting. Hatteras had a scattered bite of bluefish.

Inshore today there was some good bluefish and spanish mackerel caught. The drum are still here and biting great.

Offshore today there was good bite from the dolphin. The wahoo bite wasn’t the greatest but there still here. Blackfin tuna are still being caught as well.
