Hatteras Island Fishing Reports

Here is the Frisco Rod and Gun Outer Banks Fishing Report for Hatteras Island.

Today was another great day to be on the water. The winds were around 5 mph from the North for most of the day picking up slightly late in the afternoon. The temperature stayed right around 80 for most of the day.

From the beach today there was some really good fishing. In Avon there was a great bite from the spanish mackerel. The pier had blowtoads, spanish mackerel, sea-mullet and pampano caught. In Buxton there was spanish biting from the point. Here in Frisco the sea-mullet and pompano were biting with a few spanish caught as well. In Hatteras there was pompano biting.

Inshore today there was a good bite from the spanish mackerel and bluefish just outside the inlet.

Offshore today the wahoo fishing was great. The dolphin and blackfin tuna were scattered but made it to the docks.
