Hatteras Island Fishing Report

Here is the Frisco Rod and Gun Outer Banks Fishing Report for Hatteras Island.

Today we had sunny skies.  The winds were from the south-west at 5-10 mph and the temperatures were in the mid 80’s.

Up on the Avon beaches there were sea mullet, bluefish and croakers caught..  The Buxton beaches had some reports of small bluefish.  Out at Cape Point in Buxton spanish mackerel and bluefish were reported.   The Frisco beach over Ramp 49 had reports of bluefish catches and sea mullet.  Down on the Hatteras beaches and near the inlet there were bluefish, flounder and sea mullet reported.

The inshore boats caught limits of puppy drum and speckled and gray trout in the Pamlico Sound.

The offshore boats had another good day offshore with some limits of dolphin and wahoo.
