Hatteras Island Fislhing Reports

Here is the Frisco Rod and Gun Outer Banks Fishing Report for Hatteras Island.

Today we had a beautiful day with sunny skies. The winds were from the south at 5-10 mph and the temperatures were in the low 80’s.

Up on the Avon beaches there were scattered catches of sea mullet, bluefish, croaker and spanish mackerel..  Out at Cape Point in Buxton bluefish and spanish mackerel were caught.  Over on the Frisco beach sea mullet and pompano were reported.

The inshore boats caught spanish mackerel, bluefish and some nice cobia catches were reported.  The puppy drum bite was good in the Pamlico sound.  Pictured bellow are Gary Bunting of Frisco with a nice 72 lb Cobia and Steve Pinner of Buxton with a 41 lb Cobia.  Pretty Work guys!!!
