Here is the Frisco Rod and Gun Outer Banks Fishing Report for Hatteras Island.
Today was beautiful, with sunny skies. The winds were out of the north-east between 4-10 mph and the temperatures were in the lower 80’s.
Avon beach reports pompano, sea mullet and croaker. Buxton beach is reporting sheepshead, spanish mackerel and bluefish today. We did not hear anything from the Frisco area today. Hatteras reports flounder, pompano, sea mullet and bluefish.
The inshore boats had good catches of red drum and great catches of spanish mackerel.
The offshore boats had a good dolphin bite today, the wahoo was scattered, there were some nice size blackfin tunas and some triggerfish from the boats that bottomfished. There was one blue marlin release.
