Hatteras Island Fishing Reports

Here is the Frisco Rod and Gun Outer Banks Fishing Report for Hatteras Island.

The sun took a break today and we had a slight chance of showers. It was cloudy with cool temperatures. Winds were North-East at 10-15 mph. Temperatures were in the low 70’s dropping as the day went on.

Beach fishing is still good even with a little wind. In Avon there was bluefish and sea-mullet biting. From the Avon Pier there was some red drum, sea-mullet and bluefish. In Buxton there was puppy drum and sea-mullet. In Frisco there was bluefish and blow toads caught. Hatteras beach there was puppy drum, sea-mullet, bluefish and a few flounder biting.

Ken Wilson caught and released this nice red drum today off the Avon Pier.
