Hatteras Island Fishing Reports

Here is the Frisco Rod and Gun Outer Banks Fishing Report for Hatteras Island.

It was a cool but sunny day on the island today. The temperatures were in the upper 50’s. Winds were 5-10 mph from the North-West this morning calming down later in the day.

The colder weather didn’t stop the fishing from the beach. In Avon there was sea-mullet, bluefish, and blow-toads caught from the beach and the pier. In Buxton there was croaker, sea-mullet, puppy drum, and bluefish biting. Here in Frisco there was a scattered bluefish bite. From the beach in Hatteras there was small bluefish, flounder, blow-toads, and black drum biting.

Inshore today only a few boats fished. There was a good bite of puppy drum and some scattered speckled trout.

No offshore report for today it was to windy.
