Hatteras Island Fishing Reports

Here is the Frisco Rod and Gun Outer Banks Fishing Report for Hatteras Island.

It was a beautiful day here on the island. Almost no winds today the Pamlico Sound looked like a mirror. The temperatures were in the upper 60’s again today.

Fishing from the beach today was good. In Avon there was puppy drum, bluefish, and sea-mullet from the beach. Some small flounder, speckled trout, bluefish and puppy drum were caught at the pier in Avon today. In Buxton there was sea-mullet, bluefish, and puppy drum biting. Not much caught here in Frisco the current was pretty strong, but there was some sea-mullet and a scattered puppy drum. Hatteras beach had a good day with, flounder, bluefish, blow-toads, sea-mullet and speckled trout biting.

The red drum fishing was great again today for the inshore guys.

It was a great first day back offshore today. The wahoo and black-fin tuna bite was great. The live baiting for king mackerel was great today.
