Hatteras Island Fishing Reports

Here is the Frisco Rod and Gun Outer Banks Fishing Report for Hatteras Island.

Today was an overcast day, with warm temperatures.  We reached a high of 66F, with light winds out of the northeast and southwest.

The fishing reports are spotty right now.  I am hearing of fish being caught, just not sure on the area.  There have been bluefish, blow toads and small speckled trout.

The charter boats had excellent catches and limits of king mackerel. Some folks will be getting citations in the near future for the kings they caught today.

Ramp 44 is now opened! There is still a few inches of water but it is passable. It is recommended that you still use Ramp 43 due to a small drop off at the end of the ramp.
