Hatteras Island Fishing Reports

Here is the Frisco Rod and Gun Outer Banks Fishing Report for Hatteras Island.

Today was a beautiful day.  We had warm temperatures, 66F.  Don’t get use to that, it will be cooler tomorrow.  The winds were out of the southwest all day and increasing from 9mph this morning to 17mp this evening with higher gusts.

Avon beach had a few sea mullet and a few blow toads today.  Buxton had some bluefish today and Cape Point had about 15 red drum this evening.  Hatteras had a few sea mullet, red drum, small bluefish and blow toads.

There were a few yellowfin tuna caught today, along with a good catch of blackfin tuna.  There were also a few wahoo and bottom fish caught, along with some nice size sharks.
