Hatteras Island Fishing Reports

Here is the Frisco Rod and Gun Outer Banks Fishing Report for Hatteras Island.

Windy day again. we had scattered rain showers early this morning. The winds were from the South-West at 15-20 mph this morning calm to 10-15 mph late in the afternoon. Temperatures were in the lower 80’s.

From the beach today the fishing was pretty slow. There was sea-mullet caught from Avon to Frisco. Off the Avon Pier there was some speckled trout and croaker. In Hatteras near the inlet there was puppy drum and some red drum caught.

Inshore boats braved the winds again today. There was a good keeper drum bite as well as a good amount of red drum released. There was some flounder caught back in the sound.

No offshore report for today.
