Hatteras Island Fishing Reports

Here is the Frisco Rod and Gun Outer Banks Fishing Report for Hatteras Island.

Today we had a high of 87F.  The winds the morning were out of the west-south-west, blowing around 9 mph.  The front pushed through this evening and brought some rain and the winds switched to the northwest.

The fishing is a little scattered today as well.  Avon is reporting some croaker, sea mullet and black drum.  Buxton had some spanish mackerel.  Frisco had a few sea mullet and pompano.  Hatteras had some sea mullet, spot and croaker.

Fishing was a little slow for the inshore fleet as well today.  There were just a few red drum caught today.

The offshore boats stayed at the docks today, due to the weather conditions offshore.
