Hatteras Island Fishing Reports

Here is the Frisco Rod and Gun Outer Banks Fishing Report for Hatteras Island.

Today we had nice calm winds and plenty of sunshine.  The winds were from the north-east at 5-10 mph and the temperatures were in the low 80’s.

Up on the Avon beach bluefish, pompano, sea mullet and croakers were caught.  Around the Buxton beaches sea mullet and bluefish were reported.  Out at Cape Point in Buxton good bluefish action on metal.  Over on the Frisco beach sea mullet, pompano, croaker and bluefish have been reported.  Down on the Hatteras beach bluefish, a few spanish mackerel, croaker and a few flounder were caught.

The inshore fishing boats caught bluefish and spanish mackerel in and outside Hatteras Inlet.

The offshore boats caught a few dolphin and black fin tuna.  The wahoo bite was really good.
