Today was sunny with calm winds.  We had north winds 5 mph and the temperatures were in the low 80’s.

Up on the Avon beaches sea mullet, bluefish and a few puppy drum were caught.

Around the Buxton beaches bluefish were reported.  Out at Cape Point in Buxton bluefish and spanish mackerel were caught. Over on the Frisco beach bluefish were reported.  Down on the Hatteras beach sea mullet, croaker, bluefish  and flounder were caught.

The inshore boats had good catches of gray trout and bluefish along with some nice citation red drum in the Pamlico Sound.

The offshore boats had good catches of yellowfin and blackfin tuna.  The wahoo bite was scattered along with the dolphin.  A few king mackerel showed up today.
