Hatteras Island Fishing Reports

Here is the Frisco Rod and Gun Outer Banks Fishing Report for Hatteras Island.

Today was much nicer with sunny skies and warmer temperatures.  The winds were from the north-west switching to the south-west at 5-10 mph.

Today there were some puppy drum and sea mullet on the Buxton beach.  Over on the Frisco beach a few sea mullet were caught.

The inshore boats caught spanish mackerel and speckled trout .

The offshore fleet had excellent dolphin fishing with limits caught.  A few black fin tuna and wahoo were also caught.  Some nice bottom action was reported with grouper and tilefish.  A white marlin and sailfish were released today.
