Here is the Frisco Rod and Gun Outer Banks Fishing Report for Hatteras Island.
Today was much nicer once the scattered rain showers left early. The winds were from the north-east at 5-10 mph and the temperatures were in the mid 70’s.
Only fish to report were spanish mackerel and bluefish out Cape Point at Shelly Island in Buxton.
A few inshore had good puppy drum and speckled trout action and lots of clams in the Pamlico Sound.
The offshore boats had pretty good fishing. Some dolphin and blackfin tuna were caught. Nice citation wahoo’s were being brought in. A few sailfish and a blue marlin were released. Tilefish and grouper were caught off the bottom.
