Here is the Frisco Rod and Gun Outer Banks Fishing Report for Hatteras Island.
Today we had calm winds with no rain. The winds were from the south at 5 mph and the temperatures were in the low 80’s.
Bluefish and spanish mackerel were caught out at Shelly Island. Over on the Frisco beach bluefish, sea mullet and a few pompano were reported.
The inshore boats caught lots of spanish mackerel and bluefish and several puppy drum in the Pamlico Sound.
The offshore boats had good wahoo action and a few dolphin and blackfin tuna. The grouper and trigger fishing was good from the bottom. Several blue marlin and lots of sailfish were released.
