Here is the Frisco Rod and Gun Outer Banks Fishing Report for Hatteras Island.
Today was hot and muggy, with an occasional rainshower. The temperature was 86F and the winds have come out of all directions today. This afternoon it was out of the north, then switched out of the southwest tonight.
Avon is reporting croaker and bluefish. Buxton has reported spanish mackerel and bluefish. Here in Frisco there was sea mullet and bluefish. Hatteras has puppy drum and sea mullet.
The inshore boats had catches of big drum and keeper size drum.
The offshore boats had catches of wahoo and blackfin tuna. Those that fished the bottomed had catches of tilefish, triggerfish, grouper and amberjack. There were several sailfish released today.
