Hatteras Island Fishing Reports

Here is the Frisco Rod and Gun Outer Banks Fishing Report for Hatteras Island.

We are currently experiencing effects from Hurricane Maria.  The winds are from the north north-east at 20-30 mph with gust well over 40 mph.  The temperatures are in the upper 70’s.

There is still a mandatory evacuation for visitors of Hatteras and Ocracoke Island until the storm passes.

There is no fishing report for today.  Lets hope the Sound tide holds.

WEATHER WATCH HOODED JACKETS

Product Description: This waterproof breathable jacket is tough enough for the Bering Sea, yet is comfortable and practical for everyday fishing use.   Tailored from durable nylon fabric with a waterproof breathable barrier and Durable Water Resistant (DWR) finish, this hooded jacket stands up to heavy rain and spray. By allowing perspiration to escape, this jacket prevents sweatiness and overheating, even while battling big fish. To ensure performance in tough conditions, the Weather Watch jacket features fully taped seams, double storm flaps, a drop-tail adjustable hem, a full-sized adjustable hood and adjustable cuffs.
