Hatteras Island Fishing Reports

Here is the Frisco Rod and Gun Outer Banks Fishing Report for Hatteras Island.

Today was mostly cloudy with temperatures in the upper 60’s.  The winds were from the west to south-west at 5-10 mph.

Large Drum were caught today in Avon along with a few slot size Drum.  At Cape Point some Puppy Drum and Bluefish. In Frisco large Red Drum and in Hatteras Black Drum, Sea Mullet and Pompano were reported.

Inshore boats went out this morning and caught Speckled Trout and Drum.

Two offshore charters went out today one with a good catch of King Mackerel. One group bottom fished for Amberjack.
