Hatteras Island Fishing Reports

Here is the Frisco Rod and Gun Outer Banks Fishing Report for Hatteras Island.

Another beautiful day on the island. The temperatures were in the mid 70’s throughout the day. The winds were calm.

Great fishing off the beach today for the angler club fishing tournament. All over the beach today there was puppy drum, black drum, sea mullet, pompano, blues, and spanish mackerel.

Here is our very own Susie Perry with a 19.5 inch speckled trout that won her the largest fish for the ladies category.

Below is the final leader board for the Cape Hatteras Anglers Club tournament. Congrats to all the teams!

The inshore boats are catching limits of speckled trout and citation sized drum.

Offshore today the fishing was fair. There was a scattered wahoo bite. Black fin tuna were biting as well today. The live bait king mackerel bite was great today.
