Hatteras Island Fishing Report

Here is the Frisco Rod and Gun Outer Banks Fishing Report for Hatteras Island.

Today was sunny with temperatures in the low to mid 80s with a UV index of 10. Winds were 4-10 mph from the ESE. Sea surface temperature off Cape Point is around 75F.

High tide: 0:39 am, 1:20 pm  and  Low tide: 7:20 am, 7:04 pm

We weighed a citation 2 1/2lb Pompano caught off ramp 49. 

Inshore boats had catches of: citation Red Drum, Cobia, Spanish Mackerel, and Black Drum. There have been schools of Sheepshead spotted around the Inlet. 

The offshore fleet caught: gaffer Mahi, Blackfin Tuna, Triggerfish with 2 Blue Marlin and Sailfish releases.
