The high today was 84 and the rain we got was quick but nice. We needed it. Winds switched up on us today but for most of the afternoon it’s been out of the S/SW around 3-7mph. It’s currently blowing out of the SSW at 7mph and is on track to increase. Tomorrow is looking to be nearly the same as today. Looks like we’re going to have another thunderstorm sometime tomorrow too.
Offshore boats brought in Blackfin Tuna and Dolphin. There were releases of a Blue Marlin and a White Marlin.
Inshore boats brought in Red Drum, Bluefish, Speckled Trout, and Spanish Mackerel.
Not much report from the surf or sound, most people must be busy either on the boats or staying tuned in to what’s being caught on them.
Be sure to check in on the Big Rock Tournament, there’s a lot of Hatteras Inlet boats participating.
