Welcome to what is playing out to be a beautiful week here on the island. We had a high temperature of 74F this afternoon. Partly cloudy for tomorrow with the same warm temps. Winds are out of the South tonight at 13mph.

Rodanthe Pier- lots of Bluefish caught

Avon reported puppy Drum

Nice run of Bluefish off of ramp 43 earlier today. Speckled Trout fishing is picking up in the sound as well.

Offshore boats headed out today from Hatteras and brought back Dolphin, Yellowfin Tuna, some Wahoo and Blackfin Tuna. One Sailfish was released.

Inshore boats brought back limits of Red Drum and a couple of Cobia.

“And just like that, it stopped raining.” Never thought we would see sunshine today but the miracle happened. Our high temperature hit a pleasant 72F. Winds finally died down to 13mph out of the East currently. Unfortunately we have a steady rain moving in overnight with thunderstorms lingering for Friday morning.

We were told there were some puppy Drum caught later in the afternoon today, so that’s good news.

Still windy, cold and raining here. Looks like we have winds calming tomorrow morning around 10am. Seas are still going to be a bit rough however.

Well, day 3 of this wonderful Nor’easter and no end in sight until Thursday am. Three days of your house shaking in the wind is enough! Currently out of the North at 39mph.

Going to be windy for a few days here on the island. Ugly Nor’easter hanging around. Today’s high temperature was 55F. Rain moving in late tonight and will be on and off tomorrow as well. Currently we have winds out of the North around 40mph.
