Drum were being caught at the point today. Heard of some sea mullet in the Avon area. Not a whole lot being reported here in Frisco.

The high today here in Frisco was 81F. Wonderful day for fishing on the beach. Welcome back to all the visitors! Glad to see everyone back!
Plenty of fishing action here on the island. We have had pompano and sea mullet here off of ramp 49. We weighed in 2 more citation sea mullet today.
Large sea trout continue to be caught in the sound.
Offshore today there were catches of yellowfin, cobia and a couple of large blue marlin were caught and released..!

It was a gorgeous day here on the island with a high of 79F.
There were bluefish and Spanish caught off the point. Here on ramp 48 and 49 we had lots of sea mullet and pompano with a few citations weighed in here at Frisco Rod and Gun.
Sea trout continue to be caught in the sound with most fishermen limiting out.
Nearshore fishing in the Atlantic has produced big Reds in the Hook as well as Blues and Spanish Mackerel.
Offshore there have been catches of Tuna, Mahi, Triggerfish, Grouper, Sea Bass, and Wahoo. We also have had reports of 3 or 4 cobia being caught today.

Today we had a high of 79F. Winds picked up throughout the day to 17mph SSW. It was overcast with the sun coming out occasionally.
Up and down the South beaches there have been multiple fish caught from citation Reds, citation Sea Mullet, and Sharks at Cape Point. Black Drum, citation Sea Mullet, and citation Pompano on Frisco’s ramp 48 & 49. Down in Hatteras Village they have been catching citation pompano & Sea Mullet, and Blues including citation Reds at the inlet.
Inshore in the Pamlico Sound the Speckled Trout are starting to show up citation size as well as Bluefish and Spanish Mackerel closer to the inlet. There was also a surprising 4lb citation Pompano caught near Brigand’s Bay.
