Here is the Frisco Rod and Gun Outer Banks Fishing Report for Hatteras Island.
Today was overcast with chances of rain. We had a high in the upper 70’s with winds out of the south-south-east, 5 to 15 mph.
Fishing was better today. Folks walked over to the jetties in Buxton this morning and had a blast catching puppy drum. The bite slowed down this afternoon there though. There was some puppy drum caught in Frisco also. Hatteras had some puppy drum, pompano, sea mullet, spot and some bluefish. Overall, not a bad day!
There was no inshore report for today. As far as offshore: wahoo, dolphin, yellow and blackfin tuna. There was also a blue marlin released.
