Nearing the weekend and the weather and fishing couldn’t be better! High temperature for Frisco today was 70F. Right now we have winds out of the SE at 10mph. More of the same for tomorrow as well.

Rodanthe Pier- Puppy Drum, Sea Mullet, Blowtoads, Bluefish, Spot, Black Drum, Flounder and Croaker

Puppy Drum and LARGE Sea Mullet here in Frisco off of ramps 48 and 49. We had a couple citation size in the shop the past couple of days.

Blowtoads and puppy Drum in Hatteras.

The offshore boats out of Hatteras made it out today and brought back Wahoo, Dolphin, Yellowfin Tuna and Blackfin Tuna.

Lots of big Red Drum for the inshore boats again today!

Nice day to be out and about exploring our beaches whether you were fishing or relaxing. We had a high temperature of 57F. Starting to really warm up tomorrow with highs in the upper 60’s. Looks good for the weekend as well.

Saw some nice Sheepshead caught up at the new/old Bonner Bridge Pier.

Couple of big Red Drum caught at the point.

Some puppy Drum were caught here in Frisco as well as in Hatteras.

Big boats stayed tied up to the docks today. The inshore boats were turned loose and found the big Red Drum. Quite a few citations caught and released.

Another warm but windy day today. We had a high temperature of 61F. Currently we have winds out of the NW at 16mph. Sunny and a little cooler again tomorrow before it starts to warm up on Wednesday.

Puppy Drum were caught from Ramp 43 to 48 here in Frisco. Big Drum being caught in Ocracoke today off of ramp 72.

Inshore boats out of Hatteras had another spectacular day catching keeper Red Drum and some Ribbonfish as well.

We had a high temperature of 68F today with a bunch of rain. Cold front moved through tonight and tomorrow it looks like a high of 63F. We have a High Surf Advisory through Tuesday evening for dangerous rip currents.

What can we say, today was a washout for fishing. Hopefully tomorrow brings better conditions so everyone can get out and fish.

Happy Easter everyone! Hope you spent your day the way you wanted to. It was a windy Sunday to say the least! Sunny for the most part, but windy. We have a GALE WARNING in effect until 8pm on Monday. Speaking of Monday, it is going to be a wet one. Showers and thunderstorms throughout. We have winds out of the NE tonight at 28mph.
