Today turned out to be a beautiful beach day here in Frisco. We had a high temperature again of 86F. We have a SW wind this evening at 20mph. Chance of scattered thunderstorms rolling through the area tomorrow afternoon.

Sea Mullet, Croaker, puppy Drum, Bluefish and Spanish Mackerel off the surf on the northern beaches.

Frisco was quiet again today.

Saw puppy Drum being caught in Hatteras earlier off of ramp 55

Great day for billfish out of Hatteras! Four Sailfish and 4 Blue Marlin were released. Dolphin and Wahoo were also brought to the docks.

Inshore boats did well with Speckled Trout, slot Drum and citation Drum.

Rain showers this morning gave way to sunshine and we had a high temperature of 82F. Slightly cooler than yesterday. Going to warm back up again for the rest of the week and weekend.

Avon reporting Croaker, Sea Mullet, Spot and Sea Robins.

Couple of Bluefish and sharks in Buxton today.

Frisco and Hatteras beaches have been quiet.

Offshore conditions weren’t wonderful today but those who went and made it through the rain caught Dolphin and Wahoo.

Sea Creature released a Sailfish.

Inshore boats are still catching plenty of Speckled Trout and some Red Drum.

Nearing the end of July and it’s hot and humid. Another day topped off at 86F. Winds right now are out of the South at 11mph.

Chance of thunderstorms again Wednesday morning giving way to cloudy skies for the rest of the day.

Rodanthe Pier- Flounder, Croaker, Bluefish, Sea Mullet, Spadefish, Yellowtail, Speckled Trout, Spanish Mackerel and Pompano

Honestly, surf fishing has been real quiet today. Haven’t heard of anything being caught today here at the shop.

Still Speckled Trout being caught in the sound in waters around 3 to 4 foot.

Offshore boats out of Hatteras- limits of Dolphin and good amounts of Wahoo. Sea Creature released a Blue Marlin

Hot and humid today with a high temperature again around 86F. Chance of thunderstorms later tonight into tomorrow morning. We have winds out of the SW this evening at 15mph.

Just a friendly reminder to slow down and enjoy your stay here with us on this beautiful island.

On a brighter note, Sea Mullet, Croaker and scattered Pompano in Avon and Buxton today.

Pretty slow here in Frisco, but that’s a normal for this time of year.

Piers have been quiet as well.

Offshore boats out of Hatteras managed some Dolphin and Wahoo today.

Good Times released 2 Blue Marlin today! Nice job!
