Happy Monday. The rain finally stopped! Hot and humid with a high temperature of 86F here in Frisco today. Temps drop slightly for tomorrow but will still be in the mid 80’s. Right now we are looking at winds out of the SE at 7mph.

Rodanthe Pier- Sea Mullet, Sheepshead and King Mackerel

Some Spanish, few Blues and sharks at the point.

Offshore boats out of Hatteras caught lots of Dolphin, some Wahoo and scattered King Mackerel.

Good Times released a Blue Marlin, Hatteras Blue released a Sailfish

Inshore boats did well with Speckled Trout, Spanish Mackerel, Bluefish and Red Drum.

CONGRATULATIONS to the winners of the Alice Kelly Memorial Ladies Only Billfish Tournament! Tarheel took home the top team honors.

Welcome to all our new visitors that arrived today! So far it looks like we have a decent week ahead of us. Please take your time, relax and enjoy what our island has to offer.

We had a high temperature of 84F with on and off rain showers. Winds are out of the SW currently at 18mph.

Sea Mullet were the catch of the day today off of the surf along with some Spanish Mackerel mixed in.

Offshore boats out of Hatteras today were successful catching Dolphin, Wahoo, King Mackerel and some bottom fish.

Great day for Speckled Trout and Bluefish with the inshore boats.

Happy Friday! Nice weather today, couple stray showers mixed in, but otherwise a good day to end out the week. We had a high temperature of 82F. Winds are out of the SW this evening at 15mph.

Rodanthe Pier- Pompano

Sea Mullet in Avon.

Spanish Mackerel, Bluefish and sharks at the point late this afternoon.

Offshore boats out of Hatteras had catches of Wahoo and Barracuda. One White Marlin and 3 Sailfish were released as well.

Inshore boats enjoyed catching Red Drum, Speckled Trout and some Bluefish.

Well, the rain stopped long enough for everyone to come out of their hiding places and enjoy the day! Freaky weather here, but that’s Hatteras Island for you. We had a high temperature today of 77F. Showers have picked back up tonight and we have a chance of showers throughout the day tomorrow as well. Winds are out of the NE currently at 13mph.

Reports of Pompano and Sea Mullet being caught in Avon.

Sharks and some Spanish Mackerel earlier in the day at the POINT. Sure glad it has opened back up for us!

Pompano, Sea Mullet and some small Flounder caught here in Frisco off of ramp 49 today.

No offshore report out of Hatteras today. The fleet hopes to get out tomorrow.

Inshore boats had a good day with Red Drum and Speckled Trout.

Wet and rainy today, with a high temperature of 77F. Still some rain lingering around tomorrow as well. Stay dry and stay safe.

Fishing was non-existent today due to the weather.
