Today was hot and humid. The race this morning avoided most of the brutal heat but it was a blast. The high was 85 while the low was 75 with light to gentle winds. Gusts up to 16mph. Fishing lately has been pretty solid. Surf side has produced a variety of fish while sound side has been slim pickings with Red Drum and Speckled Trout. Inshore parties have found some Amberjacks recently with the usual catches mixed in. There was a surprise catch of a Cobia after not hearing about them for a week or more. Offshore parties have brought their usual catches back to the docks lately with a couple Amberjacks mixed in.
