August 25, 2021
Half way through the week and it was a pretty day today. Our high temperature for the day in Frisco was 88F. WINDY is reporting winds out of the SW this evening at 15mph. More of the same weather for tomorrow as well.

Surf has calmed down a bit but fishing was still slow today.

Avon reports a mixed bag of small fish today.

Nice Sea Mullet, Spanish Mackerel and some Bluefish earlier today near the point.

Slow here in Frisco with nothing reported in to us today.

Some offshore boats made it out today and reported catching Wahoo, Dolphin, limits of Tilefish, Grouper and a few Blackfin Tuna.

A few Sailfish were also released today.

Inshore boats were on the Red Drum and Bluefish.

Nice day here with a high temperature of 86F. Slight chance of thunderstorms this evening and a stray storm tomorrow as well.

Still a real slow day off the surf.

Some sharks and Spanish Mackerel earlier today at the point.

No offshore reports today out of Hatteras.

Inshore boats are still finding good amounts of Speckled Trout, keeper Red Drum and some Bluefish.

Beautiful day today! High temperature topped off at 86F with winds out of the SW this evening at 27mph. First day back in school for most kids. Please be mindful of buses, students and speed limits!

Slow day off the surf.

Avon still reporting some Croaker, Sea Mullet and small Pompano.

Spinner sharks and some Sea Mullet in Buxton near the point.

Rough surf here in Frisco. No reports in here today.

No offshore reports out of Hatteras today. Winds kept everyone tied to the docks.

Inshore boats that went out had a great day with Speckled Trout, a few Spanish Mackerel, keeper Red Drum and some Sheepshead.

Rodanthe Pier- good catches of Spanish Mackerel

Avon Pier- mixed bag

Avon beaches reported a mixed bag of small fish.

Buxton saw Sea Mullet, Bluefish, Spanish Mackerel and sharks

Mixed bag of small fish here in Frisco as well.

Offshore boats out of Hatteras did well with Dolphin and Wahoo.

Inshore boats brought back limits of Speckled Trout and Red Drum.

Well another week is coming to an end here in Frisco and we all hope you enjoyed your stay. We closed out the week with another sunny August day. Storms rolled through this evening and cooled off the temps. We ended with a high temperature of 88F. Right now we have winds out of the North at 5mph. More rain in the forecast tomorrow as well.

Rough surf and high temps made for a slow day off of the surf.

Some Speckled Trout and puppy Drum caught in the sound earlier today.

Offshore boats out of Hatteras reported catches of Dolphin and some nice Wahoo.

Sea Creature and Good Times each released a Sailfish.

Speckled Trout and keeper Red Drum were caught inshore.
