Here is the Frisco Rod and Gun Outer Banks Fishing Report for Hatteras Island.
Today was mostly cloudy with a high of 73, winds out of the SSW at 10 to 15 mph.
Fishing continues to be good. Puppy drum and sea mullet were caught behind the motels in Buxton to the jetties. Puppy drum and big biter sharks were caugh at Cape Point.
There is no inshore or offsjore charter fishing report for today.

Here is the Frisco Rod and Gun Outer Banks Fishing Report for Hatteras Island.
Today we had a high of 71F with a mix of sun and clouds, with light SW winds.
On the Buxton beaches were some flounder, puppy drum and a few speckled trout. The bite was good at Cape Point. Susan Samsock from Maryland sent us a picture of her catch. Nice fish Susan!

Today was the Hatteras Village Annual Christmas Parade. We hope everyone had a good time. A few pictures from the parade today courtesy of Coastal Cottage Outfitters. Thank You.
Today the weather was just as beautiful and warm as yesterday. The winds were from the south-west at 5-10 mph and the temperatures were around 70 degrees.
On the Buxton beaches some puppy drum, a few speckled trout and a few flounder were caught around the jetties near the Cape Hatteras Lighthouse. Out at Cape Point puppy drum and dog sharks were caught. Over on the Frisco beach a few puppy drum were caught over ramp 49. .
No reports of inshore boats out but the offshore fleet has had pretty decent live and dead bait king mackerel fishing on these slick calm days..

On the Buxton beaches more puppy drum and some small speckled trout were caught around the jetties near the Cape Hatteras Lighthouse. Out at Cape Point puppy drum and lots of dog sharks were caught in between the puppy drum bite. Over on the Frisco beach a few nice puppy drum were caught with very few people fishing over ramp 49. .
