Another day with a high of 86. The winds have been atrocious today. They’ve been moderate to strong all day and out of the SW. Currently it’s blowing about 18mph with gusts up to 27mph. The rain is coming too, looks like around 11pm but we’ll see. If you need rain gear, you know where to go.

Due to the wind, we didn’t hear of anything caught today. It was a bad day for the boats, hopefully this weekend will open up to some good fishing.

The high got up to 86. Winds have been gentle to moderate and switching directions all day, not a great day for the big boats. Currently it’s 81, feels like 84, with winds out of the WSW around 11mph. Gusts are up to 22mph. Tomorrow’s temps are looking to be about the same but winds are likely to be increased. Right now they are predicted to be around 17-24mph tomorrow. Rain is also likely later in the morning.

No report from the surf or sound.

Inshore boats caught Bluefish, Speckled Trout, and Red Drum. Thankfully they still bite when the water isn’t the prettiest and the wind isn’t the best.

Offshore boats caught Yellowfin Tuna, Dolphin, Wahoo, and Sailfish. The Sailfish were releases along with a Barracuda.

The high got up to 86 but felt like 98. Winds have been gentle to moderate and have been switching between WSW and SW. Currently it’s 80 with WSW winds around 13mph with gusts up to 21mph. Tomorrow’s winds are predicted to be increased and out of the WSW/SW again. As of right now it looks like tonight and tomorrow should be free of rain but we will see.

The only thing reported from the surf or sound today was Sharks in the surf. Water was choppy and cloudy so not much was biting.

Inshore boats caught Red Drum, Speckled Trout, Spanish Mackerel, and Bluefish.

Offshore boats did not go out today. If tomorrow is similar to how today was, the big boats will stay tied to the docks again.

Today’s high got up to 84. Winds have mainly been gentle and out of the SW/WSW. This morning the wind got up to 23mph when it was storming. Currently it’s 81 but feels like 85 with WSW winds around 12mph. Tomorrow’s temps and winds are looking to be a little higher with more thunderstorms. The next one is looking to start around 2-3am. Make sure you have your rain gear with you in the morning. If you need any, stop by the shop! We have plenty of Grundens rain gear – including the one below that is available in both womens and unisex fit.

Today was hot with a high of 86 but real feel of 97. Winds stayed gentle today, didn’t pass 10mph, and have been out of the SW/SSW. Currently it’s 80 but feels like 85 with SSW winds around 9mph. While tomorrow’s temps may be slightly lower the winds are likely to be increased. Tomorrow is going to be filled with thunderstorms so have your rain gear ready.

We didn’t hear of anything from the surf today.

Sound report included Sheepshead and Red Drum. The Red Drum were both slot and citation sized.

Inshore boats brought in Sheepshead and Red Drum. Some Drum were citations.

Offshore boats brought in Dolphin and Wahoo and released a Blue Marlin.
