Sunny day here in Frisco. Cooled down a bit from yesterday with a high of only 57F. We currently have winds out of the East at 3mph. Keep your eyes on the weather the next couple of days for iffy weather. Possibility of showers through Thursday.

Most of the surf fishing action was in Buxton today with reports of puppy Drum, Sea Mullet, Blow Toads and Black Drum posted.

Citation size Red Drum caught at the point as well.

Little slow down here in Frisco with reports of small Blowtoads and a couple Dogfish.

Oden’s dock saw some catches of Ribbonfish, Sea Bass and Triggerfish.

Citation size Red Drum and keeper Red Drum out of Hatteras today as well.

Nice day to get out and enjoy our beaches whether you were fishing, or just relaxing. We had a high temperature of 70F this afternoon. Cooling off a bit tonight with highs only in the 50’s tomorrow. We have winds out of the North tonight at 17mph.

Not a bad day down on the Frisco beaches today. Reports of small Blowtoads, Flounder, Bluefish, Mullet and puppy Drum.

Some puppy Drum down in Hatteras as well.

Great day here in Frisco. Started off a little windy and cool but ended up at 57F. Looks like we will have some rain rolling through in the early morning hours of Sunday but clearing before long. Tonight we have winds out of the East at 12mph.

Good day for fishing all around. Red Drum were caught from Buxton down. Some big sharks at the point earlier.

Rodanthe pier opened today with Mullet and Blowtoads.

Lots of puppy Drum and Mullet caught here in Frisco off of ramp 49.

Citation sized Red Drum and puppy Drum caught down in Hatteras off the end of 55.

Inshore boats out of Hatteras had another great day with puppy Drum.

First day of April and we had a sunny and windy day. Our high temperature hit 70F. Temperatures will drop a bit tomorrow, not getting out of the 50’s. We have winds out of the North tonight at 21mph.

Looks like the hot spots were ramps 43 and 44 today. A bunch of puppy Drum were caught earlier in the day.

RODANTHE PIER officially opens for the season tomorrow at 7am for all you pier fishermen.

One inshore boat headed out of Hatteras today and had one hell of a day with keeper Red Drum.
