Sunny with a high of 75F here in Frisco. Winds at 22mph out of the South at the time of the post. FLASH FLOOD WATCH from 7am Thursday through 6am Friday.
Avon beaches reported catches of Sea Mullet, small Bluefish and puppy Drum. Just north of the point there were Sea Mullet, small Flounder and small Bluefish caught.
Slot and citation sized Red Drum today at the point. Claude Bain from Virginia Beach, VA caught and released a 49″ citation today, recorded at the shop.
Here in Frisco there were large Sea Mullet caught, bait of choice was bloodworms.
Rodanthe Pier– no report at this time
Avon Pier– no report at this time
Offshore boats did not go out due to the weather.
Inshore boats caught Red Drum and Speckled Trout today.
