Here is the Frisco Rod and Gun Outer Banks Fishing Report for Hatteras Island.

The day started off overcast and with some scattered showers, ended up with a high of 79F with winds out of the South at 11mph. Wind is going to pick up tomorrow afternoon bringing some rain with it. Fish still bite in the rain though!

Haven’t heard any reports from the Avon area. In Buxton at the point there were large Spanish Mackerel and puppy Drum in the am. Here in Frisco off of ramp 49 anglers were catching Pompano, Sea Mullet and scattered puppy Drum. Hatteras reports were puppy Drum, Pompano and Sea mullet as well.

Sound is still producing bites of puppy Drum and decent Speckled Trout.

The offshore boats out of Hatteras did well with Blackfin Tuna. They also had a mix of Dolphin, Wahoo and some King Mackerel.

Inshore boats had good catches of puppy Drum and Speckled Trout as well.

Plenty of fresh finger Mullet here at the shop, come on in and pick some up!

Here is the Frisco Rod and Gun Outer Banks Fishing Report for Hatteras Island.

Today was sunny with temperatures in the high 70s with winds down around 8mph NW.

Decent size Sea Mullet up and down the beaches today. We had one citation sized Mullet weighed in at the shop this morning. Mixed bag at the point with people catching Pompano, Sea Mullet and Spanish Mackerel. Plenty of sharks at the point this evening as well. Pompano and Sea Mullet here off of ramp 49. No report from the Hatteras Village area.

The inshore boats did great today with Red Drum, Bluefish, Speckled Trout, and Spanish Mackerel.

The offshore fleet had catches of Mahi, Blackfin Tuna, and Wahoo.

Here is the Frisco Rod and Gun Outer Banks Fishing Report for Hatteras Island.

Nice day here on the island for fishing or enjoying the beach. High for today was 77F here in Frisco with winds out of the SW at 19mph. Looks like more of the same tomorrow with slightly cooler temps.

Decent size Sea Mullet up and down the beaches today. We had one citation sized Mullet weighed in at the shop this morning. Mixed bag at the point with people catching Pompano, Sea Mullet and Spanish Mackerel. Plenty of sharks at the point this evening as well. Pompano and Sea Mullet here off of ramp 49. Here is the Frisco Rod and Gun Outer Banks Fishing Report for Hatteras Island.

More rain and cloudy skies today with a high of 66F here in Frisco. Wind was out of the North at 22mph.

Northern beaches had reports of larger Red Drum. Avon Pier had some puppy Drum and scattered Bluefish. Puppy Drum caught at the point this morning. Not much reported from the Avon beaches through Frisco. We did have some puppy Drum caught in Hatteras today as well.

No reports from the boats out of Hatteras today. Rain kept all the boats at the docks today.

FRESH MULLET just came in at the shop this evening and we are restocked on all raingear. Come on in and get everything you need for the week ahead.

Here is the Frisco Rod and Gun Outer Banks Fishing Report for Hatteras Island.

Cloudy skies with light rain and a high temp of 68F today here in Frisco. Winds out of the NE at 23mph.

Avon reported puppy Drum and Sea Mullet today on their beaches. The point had a lot of action with Bluefish, puppy Drum and a good bite of larger Spanish Mackerel. No report here off of ramp 49 in Frisco today. Hatteras also had catches of Bluefish and puppy Drum.

The offshore boats out of Hatteras did not go out today due to large seas.

Inshore boats from Hatteras did well again on Red Drum.
