Here is the Frisco Rod and Gun Outer Banks Fishing Report for Hatteras Island.
Great day to get out and enjoy the island today.! High temperature of 73F with winds out of the NE at 14mph. Looks like more of the same weather for tomorrow as well.
Avon reported large Sea Mullet and puppy Drum. Bluefish and puppy Drum at the point today. Here in Frisco we had Sea Mullet and scattered puppy Drum as well. Reports out of Hatteras were scattered puppy Drum and small Speckled Trout.
Rodanthe Pier- puppy Drum
Avon Pier- large Red Drum last night but no report for today as of now.
The offshore boats out of Hatteras hit good weather and did well with King Mackerel and Blackfin Tuna. They also picked up scattered Wahoo and Dolphin.
Inshore boats caught limits of Speckled Trout and did well with keeper Red Drum.
