Here is the Frisco Rod and Gun Outer Banks Fishing Report for Hatteras Island.
It was a beautiful day across the Island today. We had temperatures right at 80º and the winds were light and variable.
Buxton is reporting puppy drum, bluefish, pompano and sea mullet being caught. The blues were caught on cut bait and lures. There were bluefish caught in Frisco also. Hatteras also produced a good mix of fish today. There were bluefish, spot sea mullet, pompano and at least one speckled trout and one small cobia.

The inshore boats had catches of puppy drum and speckled trout.
The offshore boats came back to the docks with excellent catches of wahoo and dolphin. They also had snapper and triggerfish.

Today temperatures stayed down into the 70s with a low humidity. Winds held around 10mph NE. As of right now TS Jerry’s track has it passing by us way offshore, we’ll continue to monitor its track and keep you advised.
Nothing has been reported to us for South beach due to the rough beach conditions. There have been some reports of Drum at Cape Point
The inshore boats had catches of big Blues and some Drum
The offshore fleet got out to catch Wahoo and Mahi.

Today temperatures stayed down into the low 70s. Winds have calmed down a little, down into the 20s. As of right now TS Jerry’s track has it passing by us way offshore, we’ll continue to monitor its track and keep you advised.
Nothing has been reported to us for South beach due to the rough beach conditions. There have been some reports of Drum at Cape Point
One inshore boat went out and caught some Drum.
The offshore fleet stayed at the dock due rough conditions.

Today temperatures cooled down into the low 70s. Winds are blowing a gale out of the NE at 35mph from hurricane Humberto that’s passing by the island offshore. As of right now TS Jerry’s track has it passing by us way offshore, we’ll continue to monitor its track and keep you advised.
Nothing has been reported to us due to the rough beach conditions.
One inshore boat went out and caught some Drum.
The offshore fleet stayed at the dock due to 11ft swell.

Today high temperatures were in the low 80’s, and the winds NE at 8 to 12 mph.
There were bluefish, caught from Rodanthe to Hatteras today. Buxton also had puppy drum and sea mullet. Here in Frisco we had some pompano also. Hatteras had sea mullet, puppy drum and some small flounder.
The inshore boats caught speckled trout today, bluefish.
The offshore boats had catches of blackfin tuna, wahoos and limits of bailer size dolphin.
