The closing of the week brought in some cooler fall temps with it today. Some rain to start off the morning clearing up by the afternoon. Our high for the day was 73F. Little bit warmer tomorrow. Winds are out of the North right now at 19mph.

Avon Pier- puppy Drum

Sharks, Bluefish and some Ribbonfish at the point earlier today.

Small Black Drum and Pompano reported off of ramp 49 in Frisco.

No offshore report

Inshore boats had a great day with Red Drum.

Rain, rain and more rain today. High temperature was 81F. Winds are out of the North this evening at 8mph. Rain tomorrow morning tapering off later in the day.

Sharks, keeper Drum, citation Drum and small Spanish Mackerel at the point today.

Quiet here in Frisco and Hatteras today.

Windy day for our Wednesday. High temperature for today topped off at 86F. Tomorrow is not looking so good with an 80% chance of rain. We have winds out of the South currently at 24mph. Beach hazard statement for dangerous rip currents from Thursday am trough 8pm.

Avon beaches reported puppy Drum caught today.

Pompano, Sea Mullet and puppy Drum just North of the point.

Sharks, Bluefish and a couple of Spanish at the point earlier today.

Spanish Mackerel, Bluefish and puppy Drum off of ramp 55 in Hatteras.

Started off a bit humid this morning but ended up overcast with a high temperature of 86F. Winds are out of the SE this evening at approximately 18mph. We have a beach hazard warning until Wednesday at 8 pm for dangerous rip currents. PLEASE stay out of the water.

Rodanthe Pier- puppy Drum, Flounder, Pompano, Spanish Mackerel and some Spot

Puppy Drum and Sea Mullet in Avon today.

Sea Mullet and Pompano just North of the point.

Choppy and no report from Frisco

Nice Sea Mullet, Pompano and puppy Drum off of ramp 55 in Hatteras earlier.

Only a few boats went offshore and caught some Blackfin Tuna, a couple of Dolphin, but managed a good day with Wahoo.

Inshore boats in Hatteras did good with Speckled Trout, Bluefish and keeper Drum.

Busy day here on the island. Lots of visitors out and about. Fishing is in full swing and the temperatures are still pleasantly warm. Our high temperature in Frisco today was 82F. We are looking at winds out of the East this evening at around 13mph. Slight chance of a rain shower tomorrow.

Puppy Drum everywhere again today. If you aren’t here, you are missing out.!

Few bigger sharks caught and released near the point today as well.

Good Wahoo fishing for the offshore boats today. Along with Wahoo, they were also catching Blackfin Tuna and Dolphin. Nearshore boats were catching Spanish Mackerel, Bluefish and King Mackerel.

Inshore boats found Speckled Trout, Bluefish and keeper Red Drum.
