Here is the Frisco Rod and Gun Outer Banks Fishing Report for Hatteras Island:
Today the weather in Frisco was mostly sunny with a few rain showers. We had south-west winds 10-20 mph and the temperatures were in the mid 80’s, The winds picked up a bit from yesterday. The edge of Tropical Storm Beryl is possibly going to start creating some effects by tomorrow morning and 24 hours later hopefully Beryl will be off the coast heading to the north-east away from land. From the beaches in Buxton, Frisco and Hatteras the big bluefish bite again on cut mullet. There are also some cobias being caught from the surf over ramp 43 in Buxton and ramp 55 in Hatteras. The offshore fleet had real good gaffer dolphin fishing, some of the dolphin were as close as 10-15 mph offshore. The boats had a few wahoo and blackfin tuna. The “Reliance” released a blue marlin and a sailfish today. Below is a photo of the “Godspeed” charter boat with one of the many gaffer dolphin caught today.

I hope everyone had a safe Memorial Day and we all remember all of our fallen solider’s who have fought for our freedom. Today the weather in Frisco was wonderful. We had south-west winds 5-10 mph and the temperatures were in the low 80’s. The big bluefish catching continues to be excellent. They were caught on the Buxton beach at ramp 43, the Frisco beach at ramp 49 and over ramp 55 in Hatteras. There were a few cobias caught on the Hatteras beach today. The inshore boats had some good bluefish catches and a few speckled and gray trout. One cobia was caught today from the inshore boats. The gaffer dolphin fishing was really good once again today. There were a few blackfin tuna and amberjack caught. All of the pictures below are from ramp 49 in Frisco today. There was a nice big bluefish blitz and I got some photos of one fish from each person fishing.
Chris Park from Maryland with one of the 4 big blues he caught in a very short time.
Teresa Ellington of Thomasville NC with her big bluefish.

Here is the Frisco Rod and Gun Outer Banks Fishing Report for Hatteras Island:
Today the weather in Frisco started out rainy, by the afternoon the winds were calm and the sun came out. We had south-east winds 5-10 mph with a few gusts around 20 mph during the rain showers, The temperatures were in the low 80’s. It looks like Tropical Storm Beryl is going in to the Florida/ Georgia border and circling back to go offshore just below or on top of us on Hatteras Island by Wednesday mid day. Of course that could all change by tomorrow. The big report of the day were lots of bluefish being caught on the Buxton, Frisco and Hatteras beaches and they were the big skinny bluefish. The inshore boats had good spanish mackerel and bluefish. A few gray trout were also caught. The offshore fleet had real good gaffer dolphin fishing, a few blackfin tuna and two white marlin and one blue marlin released. Below the “Good Times” charter boat with their white marlin release.

Today the weather in Frisco was windy, sunny and warm. We had east winds at 15-20 mph with some gusts to 30 mph. The temperatures were in the low 80’s. The beach fishing was pretty bad today. With sub-tropical storm Beryl just south-east of us the winds are blowing and swells are up. We sold a lot of bait today and the only catching that I know of were some bluefish on the Hatteras beach. The inshore boats fished the Pamlico sound today and had some good catches of bluefish and a few gray and speckled trout. The big drum made a showing today. The “Hook Up ” charter boat released six citation red drum. No boats fished offshore today thanks to “Beryl”.
