Here is the Frisco Rod and Gun Outer Banks Fishing Report for Hatteras Island.
Today was overcast, with a high around 64F. We had WSW winds around 5-10 mph. Tomorrow will be cooler with a chance of rain.
The fishing is on the slow side. There is dog sharks, of course. Also an occasional sea mullet, puppy drum and speckled trout. Pink seems to be one of the hot colors for the speckled trout.
The offshore boats are having nice catches of blackfin tunas. They are catching the blackfins by vertical jigging. Pictured below is the Tuna Duck and their catch of blackfin tunas caught today.

This diamond shape design drops vertically at high speed and gets you right on top of the fish even with a heavy drift. Then the glow in the dark painted details will get the predator’s attention and trigger the strike. A series of jigs that is a pleasure to fish with. Comes pre-rigged with a single assist hook.
