Here is the Frisco Rod and Gun Outer Banks Fishing Report for Hatteras Island.
Today was overcast with some light rain and periods of sunshine . We had north-east winds 10-15 mph with gusts to 25 mph and the temperatures were in the upper 60’s.
The ocean is still pretty rough on the northern beaches. We had a few nice bluefish caught on the Buxton beach as well some sea mullet. Over on the Frisco and Hatteras beaches just some blow toads were reported.
The inshore boats are still catching puppy drum. The offshore boats had a good day of dolphin, albacore and amberjack fishing. The wahoo, blackfin and yellowfin tuna bite was scattered. One nice 48 lb grouper was brought up from the bottom. The picture below is the “Good Times” charter boat with a nice 48 lb grouper caught today.
