The southern beaches were beautiful today with fairly clear water. Over on the Frisco beach some speckled trout, puppy drum and bluefish were caught. Near Isabel Inlet Dale Cashman of Frisco caught a 28″ striper late this afternoon. The Hatteras beach had bluefish, flounder, some sea mullet and puppy drum.
Boats fishing offshore today had real good blackfin tuna fishing. Some scattered yellowfin tuna, wahoo and dolphin were caught. A couple of sharks and a sailfish were released today.
