Here is the Frisco Rod and Gun Outer Banks Fishing Report for Hatteras Island: The Weather in Frisco was partly sunny today. We had south-west winds 5-10 mph and the temperatures were around 80 degrees. On the Avon beach some bluefish and sea mullet were reported. The Buxton beaches had some flounder, pompano, sea mullet and bluefish. Out at Cape Point the bluefish bite was really good. On the Frisco and Hatteras beach there were bluefish, pompano and a few puppy drum reported. The inshore boats had a good day with spanish mackerel and bluefish along with lots of big red drum being caught. A few flounder and speckled trout also in the mix. The offshore boats had some dolphin action for the ones who found a float, blackfin tuna and a few wahoo and king mackerel. Several billfish encounters but not to many releases. Although two blue marlin and sailfish were released. Below is the “Native Son” charter boat with their sailfish release.
