Hatteras Island Fishing Reports

Here is the Frisco Rod and Gun Outer Banks Fishing Report for Hatteras Island.

Today we had calm winds with some rain showers.  The winds were from the north-east at 5 mph and the temperatures were in the low 80’s.

Fishing was pretty good out at Shelly Island by Cape Point in Buxton.  The bluefish and spanish mackerel were biting pretty good.  Over on the Frisco beach sea mullet and bluefish were scattered.  Down on the Hatteras beaches pompano and sea mullet were caught.

The inshore boats caught lots of spanish mackerel and bluefish and a few speckled trout in the Pamlico Sound.

The offshore boats had good wahoo and dolphin fishing.  A blue marlin and 2 sailfish were released.
