Here is the Frisco Rod and Gun Outer Banks Fishing Report for Hatteras Island.
It was a cool day across Hatteras Island with north winds. The winds were steady around 13 mph with higher gusts until noon time, then they started to decrease.
Believe it or not there have been some fish caught today. Rodanthe area reports flounder, trout and puppy drum this morning. In Frisco there were puppy drum, pompano, bluefish and gray trout.
The red drum fishing was excellent today for the inshore boats in the Pamlico Sound.
The offshore fleet stayed to the docks today.
